The overall goal of the Hendersonville Police Department is to promote community wellness by providing comprehensive law enforcement service and protection for all citizens in our community. All of the department's actions and endeavors are committed to this end. This will be accomplished in an environment that is based on values and principles that respect the rights and needs of the public we serve and the employees of our organization as well. To achieve this goal we will hire only qualified individuals who are committed to providing courteous and professional service to all citizens regardless to race, creed, nationality, sex or religion. We will maintain ongoing dialogue and interaction with our community to promote a greater understanding of the needs and concerns of both the community and the police. Through highly trained police officers we will constantly seek to reduce crime and the fear of crime employing proactive policing technology and methods.
